Our Story

Founded in 2012 by Yvette Ashiri, JCI Ottawa was established to bring the mission and vision of Junior Chamber International to Canada's capital.

As a Local Organization of JCI Canada and JCI International, we provide opportunities for young people between the ages of 18 and 40 to develop leadership skills, create positive change, and contribute to building stronger communities.

Over the years, JCI Ottawa has become a place where people from different industries, cultures, and experiences come together with a shared belief that positive change begins with active citizens.

More than an organization, JCI Ottawa is a safe and welcoming space where people can learn, lead, and grow together.
